The staff at Elman Designs wants to make you the very best set of PicPads possible. The quality of the photos you send us will be the quality reproduced on your PicPads.
For best results provide us with photos taken at the highest resolution your camera will allow. (The higher the resolution, the sharper your photos will be.)
Photos sent to us from any website typically have a very low resolution (72 dpi), and the print quality will be compromised. For example, we receive many photos from "photo album" websites. The resolution is low because these pictures are altered to 72 dpi for Internet viewing. Always try to send us photos directly from the camera, or your hard drive.
If you are scanning your photos to send to us, please do so at a setting of 300 dpi.
To the right is an example of a "cut-off" picture. Notice how the children's heads, right and
left sides are cut off. In your pic is your person or animal cut off on the top and/or sides?
No problem! We will cut out the background and place a border around it.
The result is gorgeous.
Or perhaps you have a photo with a scenic background. Would you prefer that we print the entire photo on your PicPads? When ordering select the "Scenic Background" option. Our artist will use one of the layouts on the left (depending on the nature of your photo) to design your pads.

Picture Layout Preferences
1) Is your image slightly cut-off on top and/or the sides? We can remove the background
and place a border around it, resulting in an artistic looking pad.
2) Is your image a vacation scene? Perhaps the beach or Grand Tetons are
in the background, and you'd like to use the entire photo instead of
removing the background?
Specify either preference by clicking the appropriate checkbox while ordering.

We apologize that we cannot provide proofs prior to printing your pads. The staff at PicPads wants you to be 100% happy with your order. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your pads, return them to us unopened. (Customer is responsible for return shipping fees.) We will re-design them free of charge or provide you with a full refund.
